TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Mr Payton has spent his 20+ years in Title I schools teaching all subjects for grades 1-6, specializing in math and science in grades 7-8. His athletic coaching career began coaching middle school boys and girls in flag football, soccer and softball. He specialized in basketball and track from grades 6-12. Mr Payton used his counseling background to create and facilitate numerous drop out prevention, character education and enrichment programs for at-risk youth both inside and outside of the public school setting. Mr Payton is also an author, with 4 published texts.
