Mousepads and Markers

Hi Everyone, I have 20 years experience as a classroom teacher, teaching in grades 1-4 and 7 and 8, but mostly in a combined grade one/two. I have also been a Pilot and Contact Math Teacher for my Board responsible for piloting a new math textbook and for ordering and organizing math resources for my school.

Collaborative: I love sharing ideas and creating materials or lessons with my colleagues. You will also find me doing a lot of shared and interactive reading and writing with my students, working together to create our anchor charts, learning goals and success criteria. My store is called Mousepads and Markers because teachers use both technology and old school tools and resources to help our students.

This information was provided by one of my former grade one students who wrote an "All About My Teacher" as an end of year gift. So according to Quinn: I am 27 years old (nope - but that's sweet!). My favourite drink is tea. I like to take my students to the gym. I am funny because I laugh a lot during math. I always say "line up". My favourite thing to do in the whole world is to take my class to the park. And during the summer months, I go home.
