Traci Bringle has worked as a COTA for 22 years in public education, working with students from pre-school through high school. She currently works with pre-school and life skills students and runs a Kindergarten Handwriting Intervention Program for a large school district in the Indianapolis area. Lisa Peterson, MS, OTR has worked in public education for 22 years. Prior to that, she worked in adolescent psychiatry, brain injury rehab and early intervention (age 0-3). She has worked as an OT with students from pre-school through high school in both the general education and life skills setting. She currently works as the Autism/Behavior Interventionist for a small school district in Indiana.
Motor Minds (MM) was created by two Occupational Therapy practitioners with over 20 years each of experience in the public school setting. The MM program was developed over years of working with students with visual-motor impairments & learning difficulties. MM is a sensory-motor based handwriting curriculum created with a child's developmental milestones in mind. MM uses whole body learning and visual supports to enhance handwriting instruction.

She has completed continuing education in yoga for special needs, Autism, Cranial-Sacral Therapy and movement-based learning. Lisa Peterson, MS, OTR is an Occupational Therapist with 26 years of experience, 22 of which are in the public school setting. Lisa earned her degree from the University of Indianapolis. She has completed certification/continuing education in the areas of Autism, DIR/Floortime, Yoga for special needs, Neuro-Developmental Treatment and is a Certified PEERS instructor.
