Motherhood Mission Field

I completed my student teaching in Kindergarten and 3rd grade the fall of 2014. I spent the following spring semester in a mid-level special education class as a long term sub. I moved to Indiana that summer (2015) and began the new school year as a Pre-K assistant at a Christian school. That following year, I was hired at another Christian school as a 5th grade teacher. I taught there for two years. I am now a stay-at-home momma of two wonderful boys.

I would say I am a hands-on teacher. I try to make every lesson an experience to remember. I want my students highly engaged and moving.

In college, I was selected to take part in the edTPA pilot program.

I graduated from Williams Baptist College in May of 2015 with a BA in Early Childhood Education. In 2016, I continued my education at Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne to add Mid-Level Education onto my degree.

I am married to a cheese head from Wisconsin, who my mom hand selected for me when she secretly signed me up for eHarmony. So does that mean I can introduce my mom as "Cupid" now?
