MOSAIC METHOD: I have been homeschooling my two kids since 2015. I created Mosaic Method to meet my family’s educational needs. I love the idea of literature-based curriculum, but with my son's dyslexia, it didn’t appear to be a good fit for us. We've bounced around from curriculum to curriculum trying to find something that would be a better fit. Finally, I decided to pull together all the ideas I loved about other curriculum into a method that meets my children’s needs. I took all the little pieces and created a Mosaic that is designed specifically with Dyslexic and Audio-Visual Learners in mind.
MOSAIC METHOD DYSLEXIA FRIENDLY CURRICULUM IS: Video Instruction – Core content is taught through online videos Literature-based – Utilizing engaging audiobooks & read-along digital books Whole Family – Videos & audiobooks can be enjoyed together as a family Hands-On – Demonstrate knowledge through child-directed projects Secular – Non-religious and science-based worldview Diverse & Inclusive – Highlighting authentically voiced literature & diverse characters
