My favorite elementary teaching technique is the Orff method. The students LOVE it and so do I! It engages my students and is so creative!

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

In 2022, I retired as an elementary music specialist, after 34 years of teaching elementary and middle school choral music. I am loving having the time to create music for the elementary music classroom! I am a huge baseball fan and work in a local ballpark for fun! I am currently working to prepare a professional development course in composition for elementary music teachers. In my spare time, I love to volunteer in my church and sing in the choir. I am blessed to be married to my husband, Mark, and have two adult children.
