"Follow the Child" Since I read "The Absorbent Mind" at the age of 18, I have always been drawn back to the words of Maria Montessori, "follow the child". As we have seen different labels, different buzz words and different curriculae flash before us, my foundation is to "follow the child". I am not as interested in the diagnosing, labeling, or finding what disables us as I am in discovering what works for each child and experiencing the beauty of seeing them soar with cofidence.
