Claudia Medina, Teacher Trainer, Claudia is a seasoned Montessori teacher with 21 years of classroom experience. She is a Montessori lecturer in the United States, Spain, Czech Republic, Ireland and Chile. Her Background is in Montessori Education and Music. Claudia began her career as a Musician and immersion English teacher at Colegio Nueva Granada in Bogotá, Colombia in1989. Her passion for children, music and education has been a driving force through out her career. Claudia began her professional development at La Universidad de los Andes in Bogota, Colombia where she majored in Music and Psychology and continued in Music Therapy and Music Education at Florida State University she discovered Montessori through the Bells. Claudia then pursues her AMI 2.5-6 Montessori credential at the Southern Montessori institute in Miami Florida in 1993 and Elementary Montessori Credential from MMTTC, in Chicago, Illinois in 2000. Claudia has taught at the 3-6 and Elementary levels since 1993 always incorporating music and foreign language into her classes. Currently she does Montessori training in both Elementary and Primary in Duhovka Institute In Prague Czech Republic, Montessori Canela in Barcelona, Spain and in La Academia Montessori in Santiago Chile, she has worked with Seton Montessori institute, training Elementary and Paraprofessional Teachers. Claudia has worked in language immersion programs for ages 3-12 years of age, in both English to Spanish and Spanish to English immersion. She is currently an Independent Montessori Consultant and Owner of Montessori Creative LLC.
