TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for 9 years 6-12. I have been teaching middle school for 7 years. I currently teach 7th grade U.S. History.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I use a variety of collaborative and cooperative learning and literacy strategies and teach 7th grade early U.S. History. I use a variety of middle level texts to highlight diverse voices including A Young People's History of the United States, An Indigenous People's History of the U.S. for Young People, A Queer People's History of the U.S. for Young People, etc.
