I am going into my fourth year as a Social Studies Teacher, having taught grades seven and 8.

My teaching style is student centered with a focus on the bigger picture. My goal everyday is for my students to make connections and make sense of the world around them.

In addition to my experience as a teacher, I have served as a basketball coach for several years. I have learned over the years that teaching and coaching truly go hand in hand. My experience in both has helped me to become a very well rounded educator.
