I have 5 years experience teaching pre-Kindy and Kindergarten children in Sweden (age 3-6). I have also taught outdoor learning to children aged 4-8, teaching lessons including den building, small world story making, tool work (knives, hammers, saws), team building games, gardening, fire lighting, cooking and so forth.
I come from a Reggio Emilia inspired background but my main teaching style at present follows the Forest School ethos which is currently growing in the UK. I believe in freedom for children to play and explore in a safe environment where risk taking is encouraged but dangers identified and managed.
