TEACHING EXPERIENCE

7-12 English and Music teacher for 13 years in Philadelphia.

MY TEACHING STYLE

The classroom is organic and fluid and I'm not afraid to go off script or change it on the fly. I try to meet each student where they are at and push them to excellence. Nothing gets me more excited as a teacher then when a student surprises themselves with their creativity—especially when we work together to uncover it.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

~MFA in Creative Writing from Arcadia University ~BS in English Education from Temple University ~AA in Music Performance from CCP ~The mean streets of Philly

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I wrote a novel. It was published. Some people bought it, and some of those people liked it enough that I decided to write another one. I am certifiably insane...for Poe. My English classroom is a blend of Poe and Potter. Ravenclaw is the house where we meet.
