Miss Waters' Class

My teaching experience includes working at Durham School of the Arts where I completed my field experience. Over the past year and a half, I have worked at Southpoint Academy as the substitute teacher for the Kindergarten class, the Kindergarten class lead teacher, as well as, the music teacher for all grades. This year, I will be going into the second year of lead teaching kindergarten. In addition, I have worked with New Life 21st CCLC as an afterschool teacher over the past 2 years as well as a summer program teacher.

I am a graduate of North Carolina Central University (NCCU). I earned a BA degree in Music and Education. Through NCCU, I have completed my TEP credentials to be a NCDPI certified teacher. I am currently completing my last year in the graduate program at NCCU to obtain my Masters of Arts in Educational Technology. My passion is teaching and music.

I am an educated musician and entrepreneur; who is an elementary school teacher that creates music and lessons to enhance children's educational growth.
