TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I’ve worked in Special Education for 11 years spanning between middle and high school. Learning profiles include LBLD, ASD, ADHD, SLD, Communication Disorders, Hearing Impaired, NVLD, and SEL disabilities.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I have a background in visual arts, creative writing and communications in addition to my degree in teaching moderate special needs. I use my design skills to create visual aids, manipulative tools, or worksheets that break down skills into manageable parts for learners. I also implement opportunities for community building such as ice breakers, games or puzzles.
