This is my 15th year teaching. I taught two years in the outback, (very small school setting), five years overseas (England, US and Japan) and almost eight years in my current school.
I love it when students work in small groups, share ideas and teach each other. Many students are highly motivated by games so if I can turn an activity into something fun and memorable, I will. In my classroom, I like to have a mix of student work displayed and teaching posters.
Two scholarships - one to teach in Kiribati (2 weeks) and the other to study in South Korea for 3 weeks.
Bachelor of Education (specialising in musc) Master of Applied Linguistics
Lived in a variety of countries (Japan - 1.5 yr, English2.5yr , USA - 1yr NC) and taught in Australian outback for 2 years. I have two gorgeous children (3 + 4 y.o.) who I devote my weekends to.
