TEACHING EXPERIENCE

ALOOOOOHA!!! I was born and raised in Hawaii. I taught in Hawaii for 2 years before I moved to Colorado in 2018. I am in my 6th year of teaching now and have taught a range of things: P.E., Polynesian Dance, Peer Education, Crafts, 8th grade Social Studies, English Language Development and now 6th grade Social Studies. I am also the Social Studies Team Lead at my school for the past 2 years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a very hands on teacher! I want my students up and moving throughout the lesson; I want them talking more than me ALWAYS!! I pride myself on creating a safe and fun classroom environment that allows children to express their true selves. I LOVE TEACHING!!
