With over 7 years of experience in teaching assorted science courses ( Biology, Physical Science, Earth Space Science, Health Sciences and Astronomy), Miss Houston has compiled a set of resources teachers can utilize for the instruction of secondary students (middle school and high school students).

MY TEACHING STYLE

Most resources use the 5E model (with one activity for each E). Engage Explore Explain Elaborate Evaluate Most of these activities are student centered and utilize AVID structures for Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization and Rigor.
