Six years later, I am teaching a variety of courses, have worked on designing curriculums and pathways for my department, organized events such as "Reality Check" for high school seniors and I have advised the Future Business Leaders of America organization for five years. In Fall of 2018, I presented at the Wisconsin Educators in Business and Information Technology with a colleague.
I try to differentiate my instruction as much as possible, often allowing students to choose how they would like to present their information. Although I believe lecturing is important in some courses and at certain times, I try to incorporate as many real world activities and examples as possible.
I am currently certified as Microsoft Office Specialist - Excel, Microsoft Office Specialist - PowerPoint and Microsoft Office Specialist - Word.
I attended Illinois State University for four years and graduated with a degree in Business Teacher Education. I earned my Master's Degree in Educational Technology from the American College of Education in the Fall of 2017.
I also love to cook and bake in my free time as well as snuggle up with my kitty.
