I've taught dance education in the public school system for 15 years. In addition, after almost ten years as a speech and debate coach, I became an instructor of communications for dual enrollment students in 2021. I have a degree in Dance Education, K-12 and a certification in ELA, 7-12. I also have a Master's degree in Instructional Leadership.
As one would expect, I incorporate movement into every lesson I teach! Kinesthetic learning is so important for many of our students, and I aim to ensure that the instructional needs of those students are met. I also value cross-curricular instruction and strive to incorporate history, science, literacy skills, visual art, music, SEL, and even math when I can!

I am a dance teacher, choreographer, communications enthusiast, lover of coffee, wannabe plant mom (I kill all the plants), wife who doesn't cook, and actual mom to one and half real human babies. (Yup, I'm preggers with my second baby. Thanks, IVF!)
