I have been teaching in public schools for 12 years. Of those 12 years, I have taught one year of Special Education (ELA and Math--Middle School), one year of High School Social Studies, ten years of Middle School/High School Mathematics, and one year of 4th-6th ELA. I am currently our district's At-Risk Director and Academic Supervisor.
I am a hands on teacher. I usually spend a day for each lesson providing notes that more often than not include a step by step process to complete problems. My classes then spend A LOT of time on cooperative or independent projects.

In my free time, I love to spend time with my four boys and husband. We love the Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs. When I'm not cheering them on, you can find me cheering on my boys at the baseball field, football field, or basketball court.
