TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught Middle Grades Mathematics for 15 years. My first 10 years, I taught grades 6-8 remediation math. During this time, I learned that many students need guidance and support for complex math operations. For the past 5 years, I have taught 7th grade math-Special Education, General Curriculum, and Gifted.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I enjoy providing my students with scaffolded lessons to help teach a mathematical concept. I create many of my teaching resources not just as an opportunity to practice a concept, but also to learn from it.
