TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my fifth year of teaching music. So far in my career, I have had the opportunity to teach music in a variety of settings. I have taught K-6 general music, beginning band, middle school/high school choir, children's choir, and even a high school rock band! I stay up-to-date through involvement in the Kentucky Music Educator's Association as well as performing with my local community orchestra.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to include singing, movement, listening and instrument performance into every general music lesson. I incorporate Kodaly and Orff methods as well.
