Making Music Matter

I have been an Elementary Music Teacher for 15 years. I have also taught music at a preschool program from 3-year-olds through Kindergarten. At church, I have served as children's choir director, Vacation Bible School Music director, and assistant director for youth choir.

I love creating musical experiences that inspire students to love and make music! I want to provide students with the tools they need to read and understand music, so they can express themselves with music of their own. My goal is to encourage students to become lifelong music makers.

I am a National Board Certified Teacher!

I received a Bachelor's Degree in Commercial Vocal Performance and Music Business. I also have a Master's Degree in Music Education. I also have Kodaly certification and I am a National Board Certified Teacher.

I am a Mom to five incredible kids. I have vocal and piano training, and I have begun learning to play the violin. It's never too late to learn something new! I sing in the choir and on praise team at my church, where I am also the children's choir director.
