I am a 6th and 8th grade ELA teacher from the Midwest, and I love making resources to help make learning more enjoyable for my students and to make my role as a teacher just a little bit easier.
My main goal in the classroom is to answer the painful question of "why." Every student wants to know why they are being asked to complete a certain assignment, read a particular book, or write that dreaded paper. While they may never use William Shakespeare outside of the classroom, I want to show students that they can use the skills we learn in class to share their ideas and influence others, no matter the path they take after school.
QUALIFICATIONS: BS in English Education MA in English
I went to a tiny, small-town high school and graduated from Olivet Nazarene University as an English Education major in 2019 and earned my MA in English from Indiana University in 2022. I have always loved education and have a passion for all things English! One of the things I have always loved to do is to help people in the classroom, so I'd love to help create whatever would make your classroom experience better!
