TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught remedial Reading and General English for 10 years at Lincoln High School (2005-2015). I have taught 9th grade Intensive Reading, 9th grade General English, 10th grade Intensive Reading, 10th grade English, 11th grade General English, 11th grade Honors English, and 11th grade Intensive Reading.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to use high-interest novels to teach low-interest skills to struggling readers. If I'm going to be bored teaching the material, I know the students are going to be really bored learning it!
