TEACHING EXPERIENCE

We are a team of two teachers with over 14 years of combined teaching experience in the great state of Texas. All of our experience has been serving at-risk populations in inner-city Houston. We have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade in varying capacities with most of our experience focused on ELA instruction.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Our passion is finding ways to bring literature back into the classroom when testing has become such a large part of education in Texas. We are data-driven and well-versed in Texas standards and the elementary STAAR tests. We recognize the need for meaningful test preparation and are committed to creating resources and opportunities to meet the needs of all classrooms.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Gina received her Bachelor's in Education from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, TX. Rose received her Bachelor's in Psychology and Anthropology from Bucknell University of Lewisburg, PA.
