I am a 5th generation teacher, so education is embedded in my family. I followed in my mom's foot-steps by becoming a high school math teacher. I am thankful for my 1st grade teacher that allowed me to take home worksheets in the recycling bin so I could "play teacher" at home. I had the best preparation for being a teacher by watching my fantastic teachers in my elementary, middle school, high school, and college years!
