TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Lisa has been fortunate to work in a variety of settings during her 26 years of providing Speech-Language services to children and young adults ages 3-21 years. This includes work through her employment for area public schools providing therapy in homes, preschools, and early childhood, elementary, middle school and high school classrooms. Lisa has specialized experience in providing remediation for speech sound production.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Lisa has specialized experience in speech sound production as she recently spent eight years providing phonological remediation in a classroom setting using a cycles approach. Creating practice opportunities and providing instruction for children to increase their intelligibility is a passion for Lisa. Lisa’s experiences providing therapy also includes extensive work to increase oral language comprehension and production so children may be the best communicators possible.
