TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've had the pleasure of teaching for the last 19 years. Although, as with everything, I've had my ups and downs. I would not trade my profession for any other.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love to have my students participate on hands on activities and research. I feel that if they don't experience things on their own or are actively engaged while learning, then they don't fully understand the concept that is being taught.

I am a graduate of Florida International University. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and continued to get my Elementary School Certification.

I am the proud mother of two and love spending time with my two boys just as much as I love teaching. I am a cancer survivor who recently underwent a mastectomy operation.
