Little Miss Sunflower

I am a mom of 3 girls, I've been homeschooling for 4 years and tutoring elementary, middle school & high school students for 6 years in beginning reading, reading comprehension, elementary & middle school math, Algebra 1 & 2 and Science. My youngest has a Global Learning Disability, ADHD, SPD and vision struggles which requires larger print items and print in the color red. I have created a lot of activities using Roman Word Bubbling that has helped my daughter learn and retain information that I can't wait to share with you!

I believe learning should be fun and engaging! It should be a mixture of the basics and child-led unit studies. A child's curiosity is the best motivator!!!

I created this page to share the educational products I have made for my Little Miss Sunflower. She was a micro-preemie, born at 25 weeks. She spent 101 days in the NICU & came home for a short while & had to go back due to pneumonia & a heart defect that needed fixing. She is truly a miracle! As my Little Miss Sunflower grew, I could tell that letters & numbers were hard for her to see & focus on. Being the mother of a special needs child, I knew I needed to do some research. So I did & came across Cortical Vision Impairment. Everything I read about it fit her to a T. As I homeschooled during COVID, I began making math & reading activities made with Roman Word Bubbling. A lot of the activities I made were Montessori type activities that allow her to build, explore & accomplish! I hope you enjoy these activities as much as she has!
