I have experience in Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade. My experience ranges from substitute teaching, being a "roaming science specialist", and teaching a multi- grade level class of 2nd and 3rd grade students.
I am a firm believer in hands on, discovery centered, learning and teaching styles. I love having my students complete projects where they discover new concepts while I scaffold when it is appropriate. I love the Common Core and the variety of ways it allows for me to teach my students.
Teacher of the Quarter- Central Washington University
I am a Washington State elementary educator who loves science! My degree is in K-8 General Elementary Education.
Hello! In my free time, I enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, and being outdoors. I love to create projects from Pinterest and never seem to stop thinking of new ways to decorate. I love being a teacher and feel rewarded and fulfilled each day when working with students!
