I'm a second-year teacher in Florida. I teach 10th-grade English 2, and I taught 9th-grade English 1 last year. Previously, I completed student teaching in Miami, Florida, as an undergraduate student at the University of Miami. There, I taught 12th-grade English 4.
Big supporter of hands-on, group-based cooperative learning. I try to limit lecture-style teaching as much as possible, though sometimes the content necessitates some teacher-led instruction. Ultimately, my goal is to be a facilitator of learning, and to teach students how to think, not what to think.
