I have taught many levels of junior high and high school math throughout my career. My expertise includes Math 7, Math 8, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Honors Algebra 1, and Algebra 2. I have experience teaching on-level, honors, at risk, and special education students.
I have a strong passion and knack for math and teaching and am thrilled to share my enthusiasm with my students and my peers. My favorite part of being a teacher is when students experience a light bulb moment and are able to overcome their struggles and make their own connections with the material. I pride myself on making math fun and accessible for my students through inquiry-based activities, puzzles, class discussions, guided notes, and various methods of practice.
