TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Hello! Welcome to my store. My name is Sarah and I am an active School Counselor. I have experience working with students from ECE through High School. I have been serving my community as a School Counselor since 2017. The students I work with generally come from low-SES families, have involvement with foster care or homeless services, are going through or have parents that are divorced, or family that has been involved in some kind of crime or addiction. Each day myself and fellow School Counselors like you work towards engaging, empowering and equipping students to have the skills they need to be successful each and every day. Whether it's learning a coping skill, championing their first passing grade, trying to keep the kid out of detention (again), hearing them out, CICO, or encouraging them to pursue their dreams. We strive to be the consciousness of the school to make schools a more peaceable, fun, and desirable place to be. Thank you all for what you do ever single day!
