I have lived and taught English to young people in Europe for nearly 10 years. In the U.S. I've taught 2nd through 6th grade. My two boys were the "foreigners" in their school and since then I have developed a heart for our 2nd language kiddos!
I am currently a regular classroom teacher in 4th grade with a passion for math. My school is in a very multicultural area so we often get the opportunity to welcome Ell newcomers.
My goal is to make my students active participants in learning through exploration, movement, and music.
I seek to help my students develop confidence in Math through a deep developments of number sense, engaging hands on activities and lots of games.
