I have been teaching, coaching, and mentoring since the 1990s. I began my career teaching Early childhood. From there I moved into elementary, middle/junior high, and high schools. During my tenure in public schools, my role was that of a Special Education Teacher. I taught resource/inclusion as well as self-contained. While teaching my special education classes, I was also mentoring my peers, both newly hired and seasoned teachers, in policies and procedures in special education and with education law. Topics of discussion included IEPs, FBAs, BIPs, PBIS, SEL, accommodations, modifications, just to name a few.

Mentoring and education law are my passions. I'm excited about helping teachers by providing resources they need for all things IEPs and mentoring teachers in the legal avenues associated with Special Education.
