TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught 7th, 8th and 9th grade social studies classes. The subject areas included World Geography, Ancient History, Government, and American History. In mini courses, I have taught Multiple Intelligences, Creativity, Route 66 and Around the World in 80 Days. Beyond the public school classroom, I have instructed adults in interactive methods both within district and around the country.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is an interactive style that engages the learners to discover history themselves through primary and secondary sources. With the discovery of knowledge, students must formulate their thoughts and beliefs about a time in history. My role as the educator is to guide the acquisition of knowledge while the student engage in activities.
