TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I truly feel I have the most rewarding job in the world. I have taught Adult Basic Education for over 16 years including GED, college-prep, high school completion, and ELL. Currently, I teach as full-time faculty at Green River College.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My core values include social justice, inclusiveness, integrity, and dignity in the classroom. I develop curricula with the whole student in mind and strive to empower student voices. I believe that curricula should be both age and level appropriate. While adult and teen learners may arrive at the classroom with varying learning needs, the materials should reflect and honor their life experiences in design and content.
