Leslie Dodge

Leslie started her teaching career with Kindermusik while still earning her bachelor’s degree, and continued that for over ten years in Las Cruces New Mexico and later in Rockwall Texas. She taught kindermusik and voice lessons at the Rockwall School of Music for five years, as well as teaching general music at the Fulton School of Heath for four years. She has been teaching for the Garland Independent School District at Herfurth Elementary school in Rowlett TX for the past five years.

The Orff Approach and Kindermusik

Leslie is an officer of The American Orff Schulwerk Organization, North Texas Chapter. She is also a member of the Texas Music Educators Association.

Mrs. Brewer has a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from New Mexico State University and a Master’s in Music from Texas A&M University, Commerce. She is Orff Levels certified

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
