EL Teacher at elementary school level for 11 years
I teach with kindness, respect, patience, support and high expectations.
I graduated magna cum laude with a master’s degree in Education and I am licensed in Teaching English as a Second Language and Early Childhood Education. In the last round of teacher evaluations, the principal called me “the champion of all EL students”, which made me laugh and was nice to hear!
I have a master’s degree in Education. I am licensed in Teaching English as a Second Language and Early Childhood Education. I have a B.A. in Anthropology and Sociology and have taken coursework in speech and language. I have also been learning Spanish for years through courses and my significant other, who is a Spanish teacher, and whose family lives in El Salvador.
I have two older children, who are my pride and joy. I have loved working with children in my professional career and being an effective and positive teacher and influence in their lives has been very important to me. I hope that you will find the content I put on Teachers Pay Teachers to be useful and valuable with your students. Thank you!
