Their educationally sound, musically fun, culturally oriented and award-winning DVD's, CD's, Songbooks and more over a career of 25 years meet benchmarks by teachers and schools worldwide. Their experience is in the classroom, on elementary school concert stages where many thousands of students singalong with L & M, on Television and much more.

In the classroom, Leon & Malia teach Hawaiian culture through their songs and through Teachers Units like the Wai Ola Song/Study Unit, currently in every public school in Hawaii. Malia has a Pre-School Program as well and her "MusicTime" instruction introduces the young child to the world of music. Songs, puppets, cut out crafts and language words reflect Hawaiian family values and the sustainability factor of taking care of Hawaii's unique environment while emphasizing rhythm and structure.
