TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been a school based SLP since 2009 and absolutely love it! I have worked with children from PK to 12th grade. I consider each student as one of "my kids".

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that speech therapy should not only be educational, but fun! I try to form an exciting, creative environment that reminds the students that they are the reason I am there.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I hold state and national certification in speech language pathology. I have certification in ABA Therapy and ADOS Administration. I am trained in AV Therapy and "The Leader in Me". I have mentored roughly two dozen future SLPs.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I attended Auburn University and received my Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Speech Language Pathology and a Minor in Rehabilitation and Special Education.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I was born and raised in north Alabama. I am the wife to an amazing husband and a mom to a wonderful little boy (and two sassy cats). I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and creating fun teaching materials!!
