TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a third grade teacher in Massachusetts who is passionate about making learning engaging and motivating. I am licensed in Elementary and Early Childhood education in two states, and I am an SEI endorsed educator. I also hold a master's degree from Lesley University in Elementary Education with a specialization in ELL/TESOL/Multicultural Education.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I strongly believe that learning and success have 100% to do with your mindset. In my classroom, we practice the power of "yet"... meaning that it's OKAY not to have something YET, but with hard work and determination, anything is possible! I encourage you to learn more about Carol Dweck's "Growth Mindset" and transform your classroom and students!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have a bachelor's degree in Pre-Law and Political Science. After graduating, I decided to pursue a career in education and went back to school to earn my Elementary Education license at Framingham State University. While studying there, I was also employed full-time at a local school where I was a Behavioral Assistant/ paraprofessional in an autism classroom. I also tutored part-time at Sylvan Learning Center. After earning my license, I took a position teaching in South Florida, where I obtained an addition license (K-6) and gained priceless experiences working with a culturally and linguistically diverse population of students. I soon returned to Massachusetts to be closer to family. I am currently employed at an elementary school in Central MA, where I am a third grade teacher and Curriculum Assistant. I also hold a master's degree from Lesley University in Elementary Education with a specialization in ELL/TESOL/Multicultural Education.
