I taught 8th grade US History in Texas from 2017-2022. This is my first year teaching 12th grade Government & Economics as well as AP Government & Politics, AP Macroeconomics, and AP US History!
I have a passion for making civics & government relevant to students' lives and creating engaging, real-world lessons to show students how to use social studies to make a positive impact on their communities and on their world. I teach at a project-based learning campus so I am learning how to implement PBL and am excited to develop TPT resources for PBL!

I am now pursuing my M.A. in Political Science with concentrations in History and Education and am projected to graduate in Fall 2023!
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter, thrift shopping, reading, watching documentaries, and visiting museums!
