By Learning Ladder Co I taught for 13 years as a Title I Reading Teacher for all elementary grade levels, but primarily Kindergarten through third. Reading Intervention is my passion and to me, it's the most rewarding teaching position there is. I also spent one year in 2nd grade and three years in 3rd grade. I'm now taking my love of education in a new direction, as I stay home with my daughter, contemplate homeschooling, and work at my products for my ETSY shop and TPT shop. This summer (2019) my TPT shop is changing it's name to Learning Ladder Co. which is also the name of my ETSY shop. Same great products, just a new streamlined name! :-)
I like movement, hands on, and visual displays. I believe that to learn students need to be involved and invested in the process. And that it should always be fun!! I used the Whole Brain Teaching Method in my classroom and try to always connect the skills and concepts to something that will stick with my students, whether it be motions, songs, pictures, or displays.
