I have been a teacher since 2007. I started out teaching kindergarten and first grade in the public schools, owned my own preschool for a little bit, and finally settled in to teaching pre-k in a small co-op school.
I believe people learn best when they are engaged and challenged, but not frustrated. Children need to play first, and learn while they are playing.
BA in Psychology from American University. MA in Elementary Education from University of Colorado at Denver. Certified in Early Childhood Education through Red Rocks Community College.
I have 3 children, and my family of 5 is neurodiverse. We have an assortment of pets and activities that keep me on my toes!
