TEACHING EXPERIENCE

9 years working directly with children with Autism, and related developmental disabilities between the ages of 18mo-14 years old. I enjoy working with families and fellow teachers to create environments that may successfully include all children to participate as well as helping each learner grow to be the most independent they can be.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I enjoy a structured classroom with many natural learning experiences. I believe relationships are key to any learning, and that these must be built before anything else. I teach it's okay to make mistakes, and its even better to forgive and to try again. Our classroom is our community and everyone deserves grace!
