An French teacher of 10 years, I've had the privilege of teaching all learners and levels - from French 1 reading to AP French 4. Currently, I teach French 1-4 at a fabulous high school in Georgia. Additionally, I teach an online AP Art History course twice a year for my district where I teach in both a traditional school year and accelerated summer course.
My teaching style involves hand-on, self-directed learning. I coach students on skills and lay the groundwork for them to create meaningful learning experiences. I am equally part facilitator of learning, guide and mentor, and cheerleader for my students. I believe the best learning happens collaboratively and in authentic settings and work every day to create those settings for my students. In all levels of my French courses, we're 90% in French.
