TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught Kindergarten and 2nd Grade before I had kids. Now, I am a stay at home mom with 4 kids. (ages 11, 10, 7, and 4)

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe it is very important for students to enjoy learning so I try to make it fun. If the students are bored, they won't pay attention and they will lack motivation. On the other hand, if students are engaged, they will pay attention and won't even realize they're learning. My lesson plans incorporate various cooperative learning activities, games, read-alouds, movement, and manipulatives.
