I have over 30 years of classroom experience and have taught every grade level from PreK through 5th grade (except Kindergarten). 1st grade is by far my favorite grade to teach! I use a structured learning approach to teaching reading and writing. I am always researching and learning the best and most effective ways to teach my students.
I am dedicated to teaching the whole child, stimulating and supporting innovation in classrooms, and striving to provide authentic learning experiences for my students. My true passion lies in nurturing the quiet kids, those that tend to fall through the cracks, those that truly need a champion to support and advocate for them.
